What’s New

Health Sciences Research Modules

Finding Evidence-based Information for Health Sciences Students is a new set of modules found within the Research Hub.
This hub will help nursing or health sciences students navigate the process of finding evidence-based health sciences information. It will help students plan their search, use appropriate databases to find information, evaluate information, and write an academic paper. It also includes a glossary of important terms.
Faculty can import the content of these modules into their learning management system using LMS packages
There is also an ACRL Framework mapping tool to help library staff identify links between the information literacy modules and the six frames of the Framework.

Maamwi Hub

The Maamwi Hub, a collection of Indigenous resources, activities, and information for students and faculty, will be launching in October. Included in the Hub launch will be videos created by Tamara Gagnon, an Indigenous multimedia developer, who is Ojibwe, born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
