These are general instructions for importing packages. Your institution may use different settings.
If you have issues please contact info@tlp-lpa.ca to receive a copy of the quizzes by email. Quizzes will only be provided to faculty.
D2L/Brightspace Packages Instructions
These are general instructions for importing packages. Your institution may use different settings.
If you have issues please contact info@tlp-lpa.ca to receive a copy of the quizzes by email. Quizzes will only be provided to faculty.
NOTE: you may have to tweak the settings for the quizzes using these instructions:
- On the Quiz Page, open Quiz Setup
- Open Submission Views tab
- Select “Add Additional Views”
- Follow the basic steps, change as necessary
- Save the View
LMS Packages
What Are Packages?
In these tabs, you can find LMS packages for many of the modules in the Learning Portal.
The packages contain content such as the following:
- Links to the relevant places in the module/hub
- Built-in quizzes that you can enable in your course.
NOTE: these are not human-readable files; you must import the package into an LMS (such as D2L or Blackboard) to view the content.

There is a package for the hub that includes the following modules:
- Academic Integrity
- Avoiding Procrastination
- Bouncing Back
- Creating a Workspace
- Harassment
- Navigating Technology
- Online Privacy
- Online Security
- Social Media
Separate packages are also available for each of these modules.
Each package contains:
- Questions and quizzes that are randomized from question pools.
- Each quiz includes a link to the related module on the Learning Portal, ensuring a seamless connection between content and assessment.
There is a package for the hub that includes the following modules:
- Presentation Skills
- Reading and Note-taking
- Stress Management
- Studying and Test-taking
- Time Management
- Academic Posters
Separate packages are also available for each of these modules.
Each package contains:

Note: If your institution’s LMS does not support packages, you can download the Word documents with the quiz questions from the packages. Click here to download the word documents files.
- The Indian Act & TreatiesThis package includes resources that provide overviews of Indigenous history in Canada, the Indian Act, Treaties, and Land Acknowledgements. Optional reflection questions / prompts are included.
- Indigenous Peoples in CanadaThis package includes resources that provide overviews of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, respectful terminology, stereotypes, and Indigenous Knowledge. Optional reflection questions / prompts are included.
- Residential SchoolsThis package includes resources that provide overviews of the history and impact of residential schools, and the Sixties Scoop. Optional reflection questions / prompts are included.
- Truth & ReconciliationThis package includes resources that provide an overview of Truth & Reconciliation and the reconciliation journey. Optional reflection questions / prompts are included.
