Technology is an important part of learning online. While most courses now have online components, when you are learning online, everything you do is online. This module will help you become more comfortable using the digital tools you need to learn online, and help you use the internet safely. It will also introduce you to some skills that can help you work on online assignments.

- Get familiar with your learning platform. Take time to explore how your course site is organized and where to find key information.
- Stay organized. Use a calendar or planner to track deadlines, classes, and study time.
- Create a dedicated workspace. Find a quiet, comfortable spot that helps you focus and keeps distractions to a minimum.
- Check your tech early. Make sure your internet connection, webcam, and mic work before classes or meetings begin.
