Building Websites: Module 6 of 9

Beautiful websites are possible with no coding experience required! There are lots of templates to choose from! In this module, you can learn how to create a great simple website.

  • Make your graphics prominent and meaningful.Graphics can illustrate or highlight a concept in a way that is engaging.
  • Use very little text.Write out what you would like to say and then go back and remove every single word that is not absolutely necessary.
  • Don’t use too many bullets. Bulleted lists are useful, but try to use them in moderation.
  • Use clear headings and subheadings.Headings can help your reader better understand your information.
  • Use images, diagrams, or multimedia where appropriate. Videos and images should reinforce the text on your page.
