The Learning Portal logo was created by Algonquin College in 2016 to represent the initial mission of The Learning Portal which was to create a collaborative resource that would provide access to a shared suite of online library and learning resources, information, and supports for all 24 Ontario colleges.

The use of the tree motif was to represent both the anticipated growth of the content available on The Learning Portal and the growth of knowledge in an online learning environment. The circles of primary colours represented the initial hubs available on The Learning Portal and the tree trunk and branches represented the stabilizing partnerships and collaboration that was the strength of the sustainability of the resource.

The Learning Portal logo ("Logo") may not be altered, distorted, or used in a manner that could mislead or harm The Learning Portal. The Logo should not be modified from its original form, as it is displayed below. This includes but is not limited to altering the colours or layout of the image.
